The Rafale is landed in No-17 golden arrows squadron of the air Force Ambala that has been resurrected in preparation for the induction.

Reason for landing in Ambala Because from here defence can easily eyes on China and Pakistan border.

As a plan all the 36 Rafale Jets will be delivered by 2022.

The golden arrows we're established in 1951 and have been involved in a number of significant operations in his history including famous Kargil war.

Details about Rafale:-

Rafale is a twin engine fighter aircraft. The jet can help each other out mid-air . It is equiped with wide range of weapons.

The Rafale has ability to perform air supremacy(control of air power over opposite forces), aerial reconnaissance(fulfill variety of requirements), ground support, in depth strike, anti-ship strike and Nuclear deterrence mission.

The advantage of Rafale jet is that it is  multidirectional radar system that means it can track upto 40 Target at same time and 

It can take off from high altitude.

The other advantage is that it can be air-to-air refueling.

In this jet some Indian specific modifications also include such as low band jammers, 10-hours flight data recording, radar warning receivers, infra-red search and tracking system.

METEOR:- It is a advanced technology beyond visual range air-to-air missile.

It is developed by a group of six European Partner which is lead by MBDA(Matra; BAe Dynamics and Alenia).

Six European Partner is Germany, Italy, France, UK, Spain, Swedon.

The missile can be equiped in Rafale, Eurofighter Typhoon, Gripen and advanced fighter aircraft.

The Jet can also equiped with HAMMER missile having range 60 km. The modern weapons lends India the capability to destroy bunkers easily. It is based on fire and forget capability and an extended stand-off capacity. The missile has ability to attack on multiple target simultaneously and one more good thing is that it can attack on both fix and moving Target with high precision.

HAMMER:- It stands for highly Agile Modular Munition Extended Range. It is Armement Air-Soil Modulaire(AASM) new generation medium range air-to-ground missile which is designed and manufactured by Sagem(Safran group) for French air Force and Navy. The missile has ability to attack on multiple target simultaneously with high precision either it is fixed Target or moving Target.

Rafale making history:-

French air Force and Navy were seeking in 1970 to replace their current fleets of aircraft. He want to reduce development cost and boosting of prospective sales then France entered into an arrangement with some countries like UK, Germany, Italy and Spain to produce an agile multi-purpose fighter, the Eurofighter Typhoon.But subsequently disagreement becomes over work share and France persuit of its own own development programme.

As a part of 8 years flight test programme Dassault Aviation built a technology demonstrator which first flew in July 1986.

In it's era Rafale is very distinct from other European fighter because it is almost entirely made by one count that is France's major defence company such as Dassault, Thales and Safran.

DHRUVASHTRA ANTI-TANK GUIDED MISSILE LAUNCHED SUCCESSFULLY

DHRUVASHTRA  ANTI-TANK GUIDED MISSILE

It is direct and top mode attack antitank guided missile.It is made in India by DRDO(Defence Research and development organisation). Earlier name of this missile is HELINA(Helicopter- Launched Nag missile) but now name changed to Dhruvashtra. 

DRDO has conducted successfully flight trial on 15th July and 16th July 2020 at ITR( integrated test range) Balasor Odisha. 

This is done without helicopter.

As tension between India and China is ongoing up, after DRDO successfully launched missile India has added one more powerful weapon in his data.

The missile is designed in such a way that it can be launched from land and air based platform.

When he get trial, the weapon system released smoothly from the ground launch platform at launch pad-3 of the ITR. Also the missile tracked the target before hitting with it high precision.

The missile is developed under the integrated guided missile development programme(IGMDP) by DRDO. Other missile which has also been developed under IGMDP is- Prithvi, Trishul, Akash and agni

This missile is guided by an infrared imagine seeker which is developed by Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) which is operating in the lock- on  before -launch mode and helps in further strengthing of the defece system of the country

Also all the parameters of the flight test has been monitored by telemetry station, tracking system and helicopter.

However DRDO( Defence Research and development organisation) has conducted last year three successful test firing of Nag missile in the pokhran firing ranges.

 VARIANT OF MISSILE

 

1. MP- ATGM( Man portable anti-tank guided missile). Made in India 3rd generation ATGM(anti-tank guided missile) derived from Nag missile . It is based on fire and forget.It is also made in India. Range of this missile is 4km.

 

2. Helina - DRDO has checked it's maximum missile range and accuracy on 8th Feb 2019 at integrated testing range.

 It can be mount  either on  Rudra or Light combat Helicopter. Both the helicopter is made in India by HAL(Hindustan Aeronautics Limited). It can touch the range upto 7km.

When NAG missile was first tested?

The first test of NAG missile was conducted in 1990. The missile launched from a tubed in programmed control mode was performed at ITR in 2001.

The test of HELINA was carried out at Chandan firing range Rajsthan in 2015. The successful test with a modified seeker which destroy the thermal target system (TTS) at a range of 4km in 2016.

Various feature:-

1. It is designed in such a way that capable of destroy the latest technology main battle Tanks and other heavy armoured vehicle in very less time.

2. It can fly up to 230 m/s and has capability to destroy both statics and moving Target under all weather conditions either in day or night.

3. Each launcher has a capacity that it can fire upto 4 missile in one minutes.

4. The missile consist four foldable wings and has a length of 1.85m, dia of 0.20m, wing spam of 0.4m and weight of 43 kg

5. It is based on fire and forget. It means it is a types of missile guidance which do not require further guidance such as wire guidance and it can hit the target without needs of launcher in the line of sight.

6. As it is fire and forget types so it will support air borne Forces of Indian army as well as machinised infantry

7. The airframe is built with lightweight and high strength composite materials. It has the capability of top attack and is immune to countermeasures.

8. It consist real time image processor and has fast and efficient algorithm which provide automatic target detection and tracking capabilities.

P7 HEAVY DROP SYSTEM

P7 heavy drop system is developed by DRDO used for para dropping, military stores, ammunition, guns from IL-76 aircraft.

This P7 dropping system successfully developed with 100% indigenous resources.

The design of the dropping system is developed by Aerial Delivery Research & Development (ADRDE). The system has been made under the make in India programme. The system is manufactured by L&T while to the Parachute is manufactured by ordnance factory.

It can drop upto 7000kg(7 ton)

The Parachute system is a multi-stage parachute system consist of 5 main canopies, 5 Brake chutes, 2 auxiliary chutes, 1 extractor parachute and platform is metallic structure made of aluminum or steel alloy.

This heavy para dropping system would be a forced multiplier for armed forces while enabling the rapid delivery of combat store in the far flung inaccessible areas.
